Здравствуйте. I’m from Moscow, Russia. Now I will introduce about my country and something.

My name is Alexei Nikolaevich Makarov. Call me Aryosha. I graduated Sankt-Petersburg University. Gorbachev, who was a leader in Soviet Union, also graduated from there. I studied to be a doctor there, and I have become. Now I work as a surgeon in Moscow.

Next I will tell you about my city. Moscow is the capital city of Russia. Moscow is beautiful city. There are a lot of good things in Moscow. I have one place where I want to recommend you. Do you know the Bol’shoi teatr? It is a national opera and ballet theater. “Bol’shoi” means big. Names and natures often agree, Bol’shoi teatr is so big. If you visit Moscow, you had better to go there. You’ll never regret for it.

Russia has a lot of delicious foods. I will introduce some of them. Piroshiki is popular in Japan too, isn’t it? But I think that Japanese piroshiki is a little different from our one. Japanese one is fried, but our one is baked. There are so many kinds. Borsht is a soup. Its red color comes from turnip. Bliny is a Russian style crape. We sometimes eat it with ikra or caviar.

Do you know Cheburashka? It is a famous character of picture book.

I like listening music. Origa is woman singer. Her voice is so clear and beautiful. Origami is popular rock band. They have a high popularity among young people. They are so cool!

Our country will take place winter Olympic in Sochi in 2014. Sochi is a resort. I’m looking forward for it. I cannot wait it.

Finally, I have OMIYAGE for you. It is matreshka. Smaller one can put into bigger one. It is so popular goods.
