Video Game: Modern Warfare 2

I borrow a game, whose name is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, from Yuya. I've already have same name game, but mine is original version. Original one made in the United States. And borrowed one is imported version. This is localized by Japanese company, so voices are Japanese, captions are too.

I tried to compare with two versions.

Of course, both of packages are almost same. But instruction manual is so different. Original one is so simple. There are plain sentences and diagram. And it is monochromatic.

However Japanese version is so colorful. And there are some pictures. They are quite plain. But it is too colorful and plain, I think. Both of them are same game, but why they are so different?

I also found another difference. It is a notation of copyright. American version is filled in it on facing page. In comparison, there are a few notations in Japanese version.

It is interesting to be different between two versions.

Also, Japanese version is attracted blame from some Japanese customers, because there are some mistake and unnatural translating. Sometimes foreign motion pictures are in the same situations. Localizing has many problems yet, I think. (197 words)
